Escaping the City is part of the Tea Garden Pond Series that I created in response to my experiences visiting botanical gardens and the Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco. I love to observe so many details and the feeling of serenity in a garden where you can see the passage of time with growth and organic decay.
This painting is 20” x 24” by 1.5” deep. I have painted with watercolors and ink on a wood panel. The piece is sealed with archival varnish and ready to hang.
