Near The Spring

Near The Spring is part of the Tea Garden Pond Series that I created in response to my experiences visiting botanical gardens and the Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco. I love to observe so many details and the feeling of serenity in a garden where you can see the passage of time with growth and organic decay.

This painting is 30x40 inches. I have painted a wood panel with watercolors and ink. The piece is sealed with archival varnish and ready to hang with a maple floater frame.
